Dr. Yang joined his friends and colleagues at the Walla Walla Eye Center in 2026. He grew up in Wisconsin, attended the University of Chicago for his bachelor’s degree, and subsequently graduated from the University of Wisconsin Medical School. In between college and medical school, he volunteered in the Peace Corps where he spent 2 years in Morocco. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in 2009. Afterwards, he continued on to the University of Albany for a cornea fellowship. He then practiced at Prairie Eye and LASIK center in Springfield, IL before joining the practice. His current move to Washington was brought about to be closer to family.

Dr. Yang is a board certified ophthalmologist with special focus on the front of the eye. He is currently taking on new patients with various eye problems, such as cataracts, glaucoma, corneal disease, dry eye, and diabetes. He performs cataract and corneal surgeries including corneal transplants and pterygium excisions.

Dr. Yang enjoys music, biking, and various racquet sports. His other interests include traveling and anything related to food.
